The questions a serious agency should ask.
No vague platform language. Here is what connects, what is planned, how AI is governed and what actually changes the price.
Fit and onboarding
Who is Genedar for?
Genedar is for agencies and digital service teams that carry an ongoing responsibility for clients, websites, projects and recurring commercial work. It is deliberately not a generic CRM or a task list for every kind of company.
Do we have to replace everything at once?
No. A rollout can begin with website intelligence and client proof, then bring CRM, delivery, documents and finance into the same record. A walkthrough maps that sequence to your current systems.
Can we create an account ourselves?
Genedar is introduced through a guided walkthrough today. We configure the right workspace and integration path with your team instead of dropping you into an empty trial.
Integrations and identity
Which Microsoft services connect today?
Microsoft Graph connects Entra ID, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint context. Standard Entra SSO is included from Control. More complex identity requirements are handled in Enterprise.
What about Harvest and infrastructure providers?
Harvest project and time data can be imported. Genedar also works with operational data from services such as Hetzner, Azure, GA4, Search Console and Uptime Kuma, depending on your configuration.
Does Nextcloud work?
Yes. Nextcloud is a document-storage option alongside SharePoint, with the same record-anchored documents, versions and folder operations. Pick whichever your agency already runs on.
Is there a public API?
Native integrations are available today. A public developer API, webhooks and broader automation connectors are planned; we do not market them as already available.
AI, MCP and permissions
What can the AI actually do?
It can reason across the client record, prepare briefings and drafts, surface risk, and execute supported workflows. The useful difference is context: the AI sees the same connected account, project, finance and operational evidence your operator is allowed to see.
What is MCP doing here?
MCP exposes supported Genedar capabilities to compatible AI clients and agents. Each request runs with a user-scoped token, inherits that user's permissions and creates attributable evidence when it changes data.
Can an agent change data without a person?
Read and draft workflows can move quickly. Material writes can require explicit human confirmation. Permission checks and audit evidence apply whether the action came from the interface, the assistant or MCP.
Can we choose the model provider?
Intelligence supports a choice of configured AI provider and bring-your-own-key setups. The provider receives only the context needed for the permitted request.
Security, hosting and clients
Where is Genedar hosted?
The Genedar cloud service is hosted in Germany. Tenant separation, role-based permissions, controlled service access and audit evidence are part of the product architecture.
Is Genedar self-hosted?
No self-hosted edition is being promised. The current offer is the managed Genedar cloud service hosted in Germany.
What is Customer Space?
Customer Space gives a client controlled access to the reports, tasks, evidence and documents meant for them. Client and read-only users do not consume paid operator seats.
Pricing
Why is annual pricing shown per month?
The annual selector shows the effective monthly value so plans remain easy to compare. The smaller line below states the exact amount charged once per year.
What grows the bill?
Paid plans scale primarily with operating capacity: additional websites are €2.50 per month and additional operators are €15 per month. Client users, read-only users and client records are free.
Are AI usage fees added by Genedar?
Genedar does not add a per-action AI surcharge. Your selected model provider may charge for usage under its own terms, particularly in bring-your-own-key configurations.
Still a real question?
Bring your tool stack, one client relationship and the awkward edge case. That is what the walkthrough is for.
